My name is Nataliia, a Ukrainian-Icelandic illustrator, graphic designer, and emerging stained glass artist. I began my art journey in 1996 studying fine art, and in 2004 I earned a BA in Graphic Design. Since then, I have worked both independently and with companies, creating projects in illustration, digital and print design, and animation.

In 2023, I developed an interest in stained glass after visiting a medieval exhibition at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow, and since, I have explored traditional techniques through workshops, masterclasses, and museum research, learning from experts such as Jonathan Cooke, Flora Jamieson, Ellen van Dijk, and Derek Hunt.

Alongside stained glass, I continue to develop my artistic voice across different mediums, from digital illustration, animation, and design to painting on canvas, paper, and glass. I enjoy exploring how traditional crafts and contemporary design can inspire each other, aiming to create a personal style that connects these worlds while keeping creativity and experimentation at the heart of my work.
An interesting detail about me is that I have grapheme–colour synaesthesia, which means I naturally perceive letters, words, and numbers in different colours. For instance, I perceive the word Art like this: Art
